HGTV Designers' Challenge Testimonial #1

Dear Cathy,

I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you again for all of your hard work and exemplary design on the Schneidman kitchen project, for the HGTV show Designers' Challenge.

It's been a real pleasure working with you and Construction Concepts Corp. from the initial stages, all the way through to the end of the project. Your years of experience and dedication were instrumental in bringing this project in efficiently and on time. I truly believe that your being an interior designer who owns a design/build firm, provided a one-stop shopping aspect to the project that was beneficial to me by meeting our strict production deadlines, as well as to the client by not displacing a young family for inordinate amounts of time while construction decisions were being made.

Cathy, in the end, the proof, as they say, was in the pudding. To walk in and see how you had taken an outdated, inefficient space and turned it into a stunning, modern-day kitchen, all while maintaining the integrity of the home, yet addressing the needs and wants of the Schneidman family was simply amazing. Your attention to detail and artistic touches resulted in a kitchen that I'm sure will thrill our viewers and bring a sense of pride and joy to the Schneidman family for years to come.

Again Cathy, thank you for all of your hard work and dedication.

Sincerely,
Eric Mathis

HGTV Designers' Challenge Testimonial #2

Thank you for transforming our space from an eyesore to a showpiece!

Our original kitchen, laundry room and bathroom was circa 1968: mustard countertops, chocolate brown appliances, linoleum flooring, dark pine cabinetry and matching paneling. A peninsula counter split the space in two and the washer and dryer were located between the bathroom and basement door - all made for awful traffic flow. With no mudroom, all shoes, coats and backpacks were left on the kitchen floor.

We are a young family and entertain alot, and the heart of our home was in desperate need of renovation.

We met Construction Concepts thanks to HGTV's Designers' Challenge but chose to work with Cathy and Jeffrey because of their design and building expertise plus their commitment to a detailed and original space.

We had seen many kitchens featured on TV, in magazines and in showrooms. We knew what we liked, but no particular look was us. We wanted color and personality, and so instead of clippings, we referred Cathy to an artist that appealed to us. Cathy took our favorite work, a vibrantly-colored print, and from it created a palette of stone, fabrics, wood and paint, highlighted by silver accents, that works beautifully throughout four rooms. She further personalized the space with one-of-a-kind artwork - framed infant shirts from our children and a rendering of our home on a mirror frame - two of many touches that truly make the space ours.

Any renovation is an enormous, and stressful, undertaking. But the CCC team's daily efforts impressed us. Every work day began with the crew starting ontime and leaving the work space clean at days end. If we had questions, and there were many, CCC answered them promptly. The quality and installation of the cabinetry, flooring, backsplash and countertops was exceptional.

Most importantly, CCC's design has improved the traffic flow exponentially.

Family and friends positive comments are great, but to live in the new space is to love it.

Thank you.

Dear Jeff:

Janine and I would like to thank you for completing such a wonderful addition to our home. We are delighted with the result!

As you know, we decided to have you bid on our contract due to the quality work that you completed on our neighbors house. Our original plans included building a three car garage and closing in our existing two car garage for use as a home office and playroom. Working with Todd, we were able to get not only the office, playroom and a three car garage but also a new master bedroom suite, full size laundry room, powder room and larger remodeled bathroom for our children! We cannot begin to tell you how impressed we are with the finished results.

I would also like to commend you on having such a great staff. They were not only professional and courteous but committed to keeping the disruptions to our household at a minimum. Your desire for excellence is evident in their work, the timeliness of completion, and our finished product!

We look forward to working with you in the very near future. Please do not hesitate to use us as a reference.

Dear Jeff,

When we first contacted you to do a kitchen addition on our house I must admit I was a bit concerned. We had never done anything as extensive as this and I later realized that my concern was completely unfounded.

Your complete design/build package was just that-COMPLETE. You took care of everything from the beginning in December, 2003 through April, 2004 when the addition and new kitchen were finished.

We were amazed when your crew arrived every day during the cold, snowy winter months. They worked in bitter cold, snow and even rain and never complained. They also set up a temporary kitchen for us in the family room so we were comfortable during the entire renovation.

The addition looks like it has always been part of the house and it gives us so much more room. We just love the new space and the fact that it adds so much to our house.

Please extend our sincere thanks to Todd, Danny and the entire crew for a job well done.

Sincerely,

Tom and Dolores Sghia
